About the Role:

The Center for Disability Services Foundation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Educator to join our team. As a Support Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting students with severe disabilities in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and providing direct instruction to students.
  • Prepare classroom materials, maintain a safe and organized learning environment, and provide custodial care to students as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college credits preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Will be required to obtain NYS Teaching Assistant Certification.
