Job Summary:

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school district in Michigan. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and objectives for students based on their specific needs.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students to enhance their speech and language abilities.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for students.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting therapy strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student evaluations, progress, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to review student goals and progress.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
  • Valid Michigan state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in a school environment or with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to create and implement personalized treatment plans based on student needs.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills to maintain accurate records.
