Sign-On Incentive: $1,500

We are seeking a customer-oriented and sales-driven individual with skills in troubleshooting and electronic repairs, who is eager to foster genuine connections.

Starting Compensation - $22.06 per hour plus unlimited bonus potential, contingent on performance metrics.

  • Average commission potential of $473/month & Top commission potential of $700/month, based on performance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to various locations as directed by the District Manager while maintaining flexible scheduling (Supporting Locations: San Bruno El Camino Real / Pleasant Hill Monument Blvd / Tracy - 805 Naglee Rd)
  • Represent Asurion and provide exceptional, personalized customer service experiences
  • Offer technical support, troubleshoot, and repair customer electronic devices
  • Drive sales in roles such as Delivery & Expert Setup and Messaging
  • Monitor virtual messaging platforms as needed – promoting Asurion home+ products
  • Complete a comprehensive 5-week training program, including certifications from Apple & Samsung
  • Manage inventory effectively
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement programs/processes and provide constructive feedback
  • Share best practices across stores to ensure consistent service and repair delivery
  • Provide feedback to leadership regarding process improvements within the store
  • Safely operate your vehicle to travel between locations under various conditions including heavy traffic and adverse weather
  • Through customer interactions, demonstrate integrity in serving, solving, and selling, while actively listening to customer needs and providing accurate information in alignment with Asurion's values.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service/sales
  • 6+ months of experience in product service support or electronics troubleshooting (preferred)
  • Ability to maintain a flexible retail schedule based on business needs – while supporting in-store, schedule may vary between 10am-9pm, avg. 5 days/week; while supporting messaging, schedule may vary between 10am-11pm, avg. 1-3 days/week
  • Willingness to travel up to 50 miles between store locations, with limited notice
  • Expect to travel for this position up to 100% of the time.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience
  • Successful completion of a background check (criminal and drug test)
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with mobile devices and operating systems
  • For messaging support, required to work in a distraction-free environment that meets ergonomic standards
  • Must meet minimum internet speed requirements: 10 Mbps download speed / 5 Mbps upload speed
  • Must have a hard-wired internet connection (Wi-Fi or Hotspots are not permitted)
  • Bilingual in Spanish
