Neurophysiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurophysiology Technologist to join our team at Healthier Mississippi People (HMP). As a key member of our neurodiagnostic team, you will be responsible for recording electrical activity arising from the brain, central, peripheral, and autonomic nervous systems using various techniques.

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, family members, and staff to ensure a smooth testing process.
• Obtain and record patient medical history, and elicit and record electrical potentials for review by a neurologist.
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment, and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Perform long-term EEG/video monitoring in accordance with established procedures.
• Transcribe digital EEG data, and comply with safety, environmental, and infection control practices and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree or Certificate of Completion from a CAAHEP Neurodiagnostic Program, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of Neurodiagnostics. Alternatively, an Associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience in Neurodiagnostics is also acceptable.
