Compensation

The estimated hourly rate for this position is between $18.50 and $22.74 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, education, and facility-specific requirements.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at a local healthcare facility. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes
• Evaluate food quality, taste, and presentation to ensure they meet our high standards
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment while adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and leadership
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
