We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Dialysis Clinic, Inc. as a Dialysis Nurse. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide top-notch care to patients with chronic kidney disease, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized care.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing hemodialysis, including assessment, initiation, and discontinuation of treatment
- Monitor patients' access and intervene as necessary
- Follow infection control policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with the charge nurse and other team members to ensure seamless care
- Administer and educate patients on medications within your scope of practice
- Attend required training and staff meetings to maintain and expand your skills
- Accredited practical nursing program completion
- Dialysis experience preferred, but not required
- Current NY LPN license
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Current state IV therapy training requirements, if applicable
