EnergyX is a pioneering company in the field of sustainable energy, dedicated to transforming the way humanity powers its world. We are seeking a highly skilled Research & Development Chemist to join our team of experienced scientists in research and development.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, focusing on disruptive materials, processes, and engineering systems to revolutionize the energy industry. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting R&D investigations for new product/process development, improvement, and maintenance.
  • Collaborating with the project lead to advance projects and achieve common goals.
  • Staying up-to-date with EnergyX Li extraction technologies and application testing.
  • Collecting and analyzing data, refining experimental design, and recommending next steps.
  • Providing technical support to operation and engineering teams regarding development, application, and quality assurance.
  • Communicating results effectively and writing project reports.
  • Operating, cleaning, and calibrating equipment that requires professional judgment and background.
  • Ensuring compliance with EH&S regulations and requirements.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of laboratory experience through industrial projects.
  • Experience in hydrometallurgy or related fields is a plus but not required.
  • Understanding of material chemistry, separation, and purification.
  • Proficiency in common laboratory techniques and instrumentation.
  • Good organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
