RF Research Scientist

The Human Engineering team is currently looking for an RF Research Scientist to apply their technical expertise in RF technology to user research to the design and development of Apple\u0027s wireless products.
This role will support all phases of product development in the context of wireless connectivity during everyday use. They will work closely with cross-functional teams including Human Factors, Antenna Design, RF Design, Software, QA, and more.
Collaborate with internal and cross-functional partners in defining critical research questions to inform RF/wireless product development.
Identify and understand users\u0027 characteristics, environments and use cases related to RF/wireless connectivity that can impact target performance metrics.
Design and execute user studies to quantify end-to-end RF/wireless system performance and root cause potential shortcomings.
Process, analyze and visualize data to formulate insights and inform product decision/trade-offs.
Communicate results and insights to cross functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- 3 years of experience post Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (or related major) with experience working with RF and wireless connectivity technologies.
- Experience with large-scale data processing and visualization using Python, R, or a similar language.
- Skilled in creating and managing research plans with a focus on delivering successful research outcomes.
- Experienced in working with cross-functional teams and using strong organizational and communication skills to solve technical problems.
