Position Overview

The Procurement Coordinator, also known as the Government Support Specialist, is responsible for managing and assisting with a variety of functions within the Government Support team. Key responsibilities encompass order processing, administrative tasks related to orders, and conducting parts research.

Core Responsibilities

  • Facilitate order entry and administration processes.
  • Review and analyze solicitations for procurement.
  • Gather pricing information and lead times for required parts.
  • Document and implement efficient processes.
  • Handle invoicing for contracts and perform credit card transactions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to U.S. Government clients and distributors.

Essential Skills

Hard Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience in order entry and administration.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Baan.
  • Understanding of contracts and government terminology is advantageous.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with management, legal teams, and various departments.
  • Excellent documentation and process auditing capabilities.
  • Effective communication and follow-up skills.
