Physician Assistant

Rutgers University is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced physicians and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care in a comprehensive academic reconstructive and cosmetic surgery practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative care
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Assist in procedures and surgery, including patient preparation and recovery
- Conduct clinical tasks, including progress notes, orders, suture removal, and dressing changes
- Participate in a collegial relationship with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Graduated from a Physician Assistant Program approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
- New Jersey License from the State Board of Medical Examiners-Physician Advisory Committee
- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- BLS
- Previous clinical experience in plastic surgery or ENT
The successful candidate will work in a hospital setting and outpatient physician practice, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care in a comprehensive academic reconstructive and cosmetic surgery practice.
