Position Summary:
The Quality Control Auditor is responsible for conducting thorough audits of the footage captured by camera teams in the natural gas distribution sector. These teams perform videography of specific underground utility installations to identify any irregularities. The auditor meticulously reviews this footage, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality protocols, as well as the company's core values and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits of videography footage from utility facility inspections, documenting and communicating all findings effectively.
  • Ensure that any nonconformities are properly recorded and communicated, including through regular reporting.
  • Collaborate with client representatives and field personnel to discuss audit results.
  • Perform duties in alignment with client expectations and the company's core values.
  • Quality Control Auditors will spend extended periods working on computers, analyzing video materials.
  • Undertake additional related tasks or special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to function effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competence in conflict resolution.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to observe video recordings and detect abnormalities.
  • Capability to read and understand industry-related standards, procedures, specifications, and instructions.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Experience in collaborative team settings.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the public utility sector, particularly in natural gas distribution.
  • Prior experience in a QA/QC role within the utility construction or natural gas distribution industry.
  • Genuine interest in contributing to the growth of the natural gas sector and the quality assurance field.
