Job Overview: The primary responsibility is to ensure the upkeep of the facility and surrounding recreational areas. This includes repairing buildings, facilities, and equipment as necessary for both indoor and outdoor attractions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to guarantee they are fully operational.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the facility and grounds.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas, ensuring guest safety.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Manage landscaping tasks such as mowing, planting, fertilizing, and watering.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
  • Execute related duties as required.
  • Read, write, and understand daily instructions.
  • Handle basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and gardening tasks.
  • Skillfully and safely operate heavy equipment.
  • Document daily maintenance activities.
  • Develop and implement effective property maintenance procedures.
Physical Requirements:
  • Occasionally climb ladders, stairs, poles, and other inclined surfaces.
  • Frequently bend and kneel.
  • Continuously lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
  • Occasionally push and pull objects.
  • Occasionally flex upper trunk forward at the waist and partially at the knees.
  • Occasionally rotate upper trunk to the right or left while sitting or standing.
  • Frequently reach above, at, or below shoulder height.
  • Coordinate eye, hand, and foot movements to operate a vehicle.
Qualifications:
Must be an organized and efficient individual, ensuring safety for guests and staff. Ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions. Familiarity with tools, equipment, materials, and methods used in park maintenance, as well as routine plumbing, carpentry, and concrete construction work. Must be able to stand and walk continuously during the shift.

Education: Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in groundskeeping or maintenance work; or any combination of relevant education and experience that meets the abilities and requirements outlined above. Must pass a drug test and background check.
