The RN Clinical Nurse is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients, families, and significant others. As a proactive and collaborative team player, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver individualized care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities- Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the delivery of clinical care, utilizing evidence-based practice and analytical/critical thinking skills.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics, adapting service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity.
- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care that promotes the professional care delivery model.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research, and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care.
- Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses, ensuring a current and future qualified workforce.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience as a Registered Nurse.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or an Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited/approved school of nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia or eligibility for licensure.
- Basic Life Support certification.
We prefer candidates with:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Experience in occupational health nursing.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
