Job Summary

The Mental Health Worker-CNA plays a vital role in providing direct patient care and technical assistance to the Health Care Team. This position requires clinical competence, strong communication skills, and a commitment to improving quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical skills and nursing procedures with precision and attention to detail.
  • Document patient care activities and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist the Health Care Team in patient care, fostering positive relationships through effective communication.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant Program or equivalent.
  • Current RI Nursing Assistant certification, required.
  • 1-year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
  • 1-year experience in Psychiatry or Human Services.
