Lane Valente Industries, a leading international construction and facility maintenance company, is seeking a skilled Electrical Apprentice to join our team. As a key member of our in-house group of field technicians, you will have the opportunity to work with top-notch managers and support our clients across the U.S. and Canada.
Key Responsibilities- Assist journeyman and apprentices by carrying materials, picking up supplies, and maintaining a clean shop floor.
- Gather tools and supplies for work sites, measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, and drill holes for wiring.
- Trace out short circuits in wiring, assist in lifting, positioning, and fastening objects, and perform minor repairs.
- Maintain tools and equipment, keep supplies and parts in order, and disassemble defective electrical equipment.
- Clean work areas, machines, tools, and equipment, and perform other routine duties as assigned.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Basic electrician's hand tools are necessary.
- Ability to work with hands and multitask is essential.
- Some electrical knowledge is helpful.
- A valid state motor vehicle operator's license and clear driving record are required to meet Company policy.
