Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ambulatory nursing care to pediatric patients, including assessment, intervention, and education.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform daily clinical duties, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and wound care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing.
- Current license to practice vocational nursing in the State of Texas.
- Current CPR certification.
- Minimum 1-year pediatric nursing experience in a clinic or office setting, or equivalent experience in a family practice with a heavy pediatric population.
