Job Summary

As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our residential halls, and providing exceptional customer service to our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of housekeeping staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of residential halls to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and effective cleaning practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Housing and Residential Life, to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors, responding to concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, including safety protocols and environmental health and safety guidelines.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation to respond to emergency situations.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a college or university environment.
  • Fluency in Spanish language.
