Wound Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Wound Care Coordinator - RN. As a key member of our nursing center, you will lead and integrate a fully developed Skin Health and Wound management program, collaborating with nursing center management to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and integrate a comprehensive Skin Health and Wound management program, ensuring adherence to national guidelines and wound care standards.
- Support central supply as the clinical expert for skin, wound, and incontinent products, ensuring accurate ordering and inventory management.
- Oversee durable medical equipment related to wound prevention and management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Must possess a RN license (MPT/DPT with leadership review/approval)
- Must complete Skin Health Team Lead orientation training and Wound Basics within 90 days of hire
- Commitment to attend monthly support calls is required
- Must have national accredited wound certification (CWS, CWCN, WCC, CWON, WOC, AWCC) or be committed to complete Advanced Wound Training and national accredited Wound Certification within 1 year of hire
