Job Summary:
Kindred Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our team. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and leading a team of nursing professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Oversee the hospital staff to ensure compliance with policies and regulations, provide guidance and support to nursing personnel, and manage disciplinary issues.
- Staff Development: Participate in program development and training for nurse-recruitment activities, assist with continuing education programs, and provide opportunities for staff growth and development.
- Patient Care: Assess patient needs, participate in providing nursing care, and ensure services are carried out and documented appropriately.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain patient health care records, supply inventory records, and order supplies and equipment as necessary.
- Compliance and Integrity: Promote adherence to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Agreement by monitoring employee performance and identifying and responding to compliance issues.
Requirements:
- Appropriate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid Registered Nurse / RN license in the state.
- BCLS and ACLS certification.
- Two years of Registered Nurse / RN nursing experience in a hospital.
- One to two years supervisory/leadership experience.
Compensation: $57.03 per hour.
