Medical Assistant Internship Opportunity

Community Health Resources (CHR) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant Intern to join our Front Office team. As a Medical Assistant Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and training in clinical mental health and substance abuse evaluation and treatment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist prescribers in preparing clients for appointments
  • Document client progress and side effects of medication
  • Submit and route lab work as needed
  • Collaborate with experienced staff to provide high-quality care
Requirements:
  • Enrolled in a Medical Assistant program
  • Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license
