ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Machine Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machinery, ensuring product quality while adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Set up and operate machinery effectively;
  • Follow production specifications, verifying item codes, lot numbers, and weights;
  • Prepare batches according to established guidelines;
  • Assist in maintaining accurate reports for ingredient tracking;
  • Remove unnecessary products from the production line;
  • Participate in cleaning and sanitization processes as required;
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area and tools;
  • Understand and execute written production orders;
  • Report inventory levels accurately to management;
  • Identify and report any food safety or quality issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or GED required;
  • Experience operating multiple production machines, including setup and troubleshooting;
  • Ability to wear necessary personal protective equipment;
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in math and reasoning;
  • Familiarity with hand tools and equipment relevant to the position;
  • Forklift operation experience preferred;
  • Lockout/tagout certification is a plus;
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: Helmet, hair nets, safety glasses, and ear plugs.
