Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our medical staff in a correctional facility setting. As an LPN with Cell Staff, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care to inmates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform health screenings and physical examinations
  • Triage, assess, and treat inmates' chronic, acute, psychological, and medical needs
  • Assess and provide mental health care, including patient assessments/evaluations
  • Administer medications, wound care, and other personalized interventions as directed by medical staff
  • Serve as first responder in emergency and crisis situations
  • Perform other general nursing duties, such as cardiac monitoring, catheter management, venipuncture, IVs, diabetic lines, etc.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited educational institution
  • Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the state in which the position is located
  • 1+ year of relevant LPN experience
