We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Dental Care at Cosby Village. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

About the Role

• Provide thorough and compassionate dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
• Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and outstanding clinical outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.

Requirements

• Current dental hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical experience.
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
