The MEP Superintendent plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of mechanical, electrical, and control systems construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage equipment procurement processes to meet project timelines.
- Develop and maintain MEP critical path schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Track and coordinate critical path construction activities to minimize delays.
- Oversee equipment deliveries and ensure they meet project requirements.
- Review and approve mechanical and electrical submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and design teams to resolve MEP-related conflicts and issues.
- Implement and manage quality control processes for MEP systems construction to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Manage the startup and pretesting of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Coordinate and support third-party commissioning activities to ensure seamless system integration.
- Manage commissioning documentation to ensure accurate and complete records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 4 years of experience in mechanical or electrical system construction.
- Proven ability to coordinate and schedule MEP activities effectively.
- Preconstruction and equipment procurement experience.
