Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen with the capability to secure an Active DoD Secret level security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline with a minimum of 6-8 years of pertinent experience, or 4-6 years of experience with a Master's degree.
  • Proficiency in CREO, Zuken, missile harnessing methodologies, missile architecture, and integration is preferred.
  • Experience in Printed Wiring Board (PWB), Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design, and cable harnesses is essential.
  • Familiarity with CAMEO is advantageous.
  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse team, manage supplier contributions, and create internal documentation.
  • Capable of conducting design trade studies that assess cost, weight, packaging, and power benefits.
  • Active Secret clearance is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in design activities involving complex electronics chassis, PWB, CCA design, and cable harnesses.
  • Work collaboratively within a small team, addressing all facets of system design from initial concept through testing.
  • Coordinate with team members across various engineering disciplines to ensure our products remain top-tier and accessible to the warfighter when necessary.
  • Report to the Hardware Integrated Product Team (HW IPT) Lead to develop harness concepts for subsystem interfaces, create wiring diagrams, generate Development Parts Lists (DPL), assist in component procurement, and provide integration support.
  • Work effectively with a diverse internal team, managing supplier inputs and developing necessary documentation.
  • Conduct design trade studies evaluating cost, weight, packaging, and power benefits.
  • This role will be fast-paced and will utilize a tailored Product Development Process (PDP) to support rapid missile demonstrations.
