Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Oglethorpe Power Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities for our combined cycle plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure reliable and efficient electric power generation.
  • Coordinate with management, outage coordinators, crafts, operations, and specialized positions to resolve planning and scheduling issues.
  • Prepare and track craft/crew backlogs, labor capacity, and work orders to completion in the computerized maintenance management system (Maximo).
  • Interface with management to provide performance reports and administer action items.
  • Develop outage personnel schedules and track changes requested by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or engineering technology preferred.
  • Eight (8) years minimum outage maintenance and management experience in an operating commercial electric power generating plant desired.
  • Experience with using a CMMS, with preference given to Maximo.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered based on a combination of education, training, and professional, technical or military experience.

Working Conditions

Valid driver's license required. Travel may be up to 30% of the time.
