Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Diesel Technician to join our team at Ryder System. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our fleet.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and equipment
  • Diagnose complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools
  • Complete detailed inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
  • Work unsupervised on most tasks, interacting with customers and drivers to ensure efficient service
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification, post-secondary degree or technical certifications preferred
  • Basic tools, required
  • Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
