Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Ryder System. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, including diesel engines, transmissions, and brakes.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake pad replacements, and tire rotations.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems with minimal support.
  • Work on heavy-duty diesel engines, transmissions, and brakes, including advanced repairs and rebuilds.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete tasks and share knowledge and expertise.
  • Document work completed and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant work experience in heavy-duty diesel repair and maintenance.
  • ASE certification in diesel engines, transmissions, and brakes.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid CDL Class A license preferred.
