About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Wire Harness Assembler to join our dynamic aerospace team at Aerotek. As a key player in our manufacturing process, you will be responsible for crafting top-quality aircraft components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately measure and cut wires to precise specifications.
  • Select wires according to color, marking, or length requirements.
  • Route wires between guide pegs on a harness board, following color-coded lines or sequential numbers on diagrams.
  • Attach wire ends to components, plugs, or terminal strips using a soldering iron or calibrated crimping device.
  • Apply heat shrink with a heat gun to ensure secure connections.
  • Test wiring continuity using a continuity tester to ensure electrical safety.
  • Enter production data into timekeeping and software systems to track progress and efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for aviation. You should be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
