Job Overview

We're seeking a compassionate and supportive Care Assistant to join our team at Kingston Healthcare. As a Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to residents, including assistance with daily activities and medication management.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and the care team, ensuring a collaborative and empathetic approach to care.
  • Participate in recreational activities, events, and outings, enhancing the overall quality of life for our residents.
  • Work closely with the care team to ensure residents receive comprehensive and coordinated care, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment, adhering to our high standards of care.
Requirements
  • A kind-hearted and patient individual with a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • A team player with a flexible and adaptable approach, willing to pitch in and support the care team as needed.
  • A high school degree or equivalent is required, with a CNA certification a definite asset.
  • Previous experience in senior living or healthcare is an advantage, but not essential.
