About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our team at OMRON. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the design, development, and manufacturing of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Leadership: Provide strong leadership and expertise to ensure OMRON's products meet quality standards, process guidelines, and best practices.
  • Quality Improvement: Use KPIs to ensure business quality targets are met and quality improvement initiatives are effective.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our Global Quality (GQ) and Global Sales and Service (OEXs) partners to maintain strong alignment on quality processes and priorities.
  • Quality Management System: Own and maintain the QMS (ISO-9001) and EMS (ISO compliance for the business, including all associated documentation, organizational training, internal and external audits, and planning and execution of continuous improvements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a cross-functional quality team from Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warranty, and Service to ensure organizational quality goals are met and quality improvement initiatives are well-planned and successfully executed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering from a four-year college or related technical school. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in manufacturing and quality assurance. Prior management experience preferred.
  • Skills: Deep knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 implementation, sound understanding of Six Sigma methodologies, and strong knowledge of electro-mechanical systems and software development and deployment.
  • Leadership: Strong leader with outstanding verbal and written communication skills, excellent team builder with proven leadership abilities and well-developed emotional intelligence.
