About the Role

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:


  • Executing predictive activities, calibrations, and modifications to instrumentation equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Studying blueprints and instrument diagrams to identify required materials and components.
  • Obtaining work permits and communicating effectively with operations and other impacted work groups to ensure effective hand-offs.
  • Skilled in the use of various tools to maintain, calibrate, and repair instrumentation equipment.

The ideal candidate will have:


  • 5-8 years of experience in the chemical or refinery industry.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience as a Maintenance Instrument Tech.
  • Understanding of Instrumentation theory.
  • Experience with SIS systems and Controls systems (Honeywell; Delta V and/or DCS).
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent data entry software.
  • Experience with Flukes to provide accurate test, measurements, and calibration.

Preferred qualifications include:


  • Experience with Beamex Software.
  • AAS Instrument Technology Degree.
