Key Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Laboratory Medical Director, Laboratory Director, and Section Supervisor, the Senior Clinical Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for:

  • Occasionally collecting samples from patients for testing.
  • Regularly performing analyses on specimens to generate reportable results using established protocols.
  • Documenting and communicating results to the requesting physician.
  • Contributing to operations across multiple laboratory sections.

This position may also allow for classification as a CLS-II for candidates with extensive experience in specific laboratory sections.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in an acute care laboratory, with exposure to 2-3 laboratory sections, or seven years in 1-2 sections.
  • Eligibility for internal promotion based on overall experience, job performance, and potential for advancement.
  • A valid and active Clinical Laboratory Scientist License in the State of California.
