We are currently seeking a meticulous and skilled Quality Assistant with expertise in Aerospace Distribution. The selected candidate will be integral in upholding and improving our quality assurance processes through various administrative tasks. Responsibilities will include managing documentation, conducting compliance checks, and ensuring that our aerospace distribution operations meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain quality-related documentation, such as inspection reports, certifications, and compliance records.
- Ensure all documents are accurate, current, and readily available for audits.
- Support the inspection process by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring inspection tools are properly calibrated.
- Complete company profile documentation requests from clients, including quality surveys and questionnaires.
- Conduct supplier surveys to facilitate the quality team's approval of new suppliers.
- Monitor quality task deadlines and communicate upcoming tasks to team members.
- Inform relevant personnel of any updates or changes related to quality.
- Promote effective communication between quality assurance teams and other departments.
- Accurately input quality-related data into the tracking system for analysis.
- Assist in generating reports on key quality metrics.
- Complete customer quality surveys and questionnaires.
- Review vendor approvals to ensure timely removal of expired approvals.
- Collect metrics data and assist in preparing presentations.
- Help capture and format work instructions and procedures to support change management.
- Assist with audit documentation for internal and external audits.
- Manage documents within the Quality SharePoint site.
- Gather information for metrics reporting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in a related field is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications in quality management or aerospace quality control are a plus.
- Demonstrated experience as a Quality Clerk, preferably in the aerospace distribution sector.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and documentation standards in aerospace.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of applicable quality standards and regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite for documentation and reporting tasks.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Job Type: Full Time
Compensation: $21.63/hr - $23/hr
