About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager Test to lead our Test Engineering organization. As a member of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the core system applications, including Calculator, Contacts, Files, Finder, Spotlight, Setup, Settings, and many more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 6-8 SDETs and QA Engineers responsible for various projects on iOS and macOS.
  • Collaborate closely with your team, other software engineers, project managers, and other quality teams at Apple.
  • Coordinate testing with other teams, review test plans and related documentation, and deliver scalable integration and UI tests.
  • Monitor progress, provide sign-offs at critical milestones, and process data from multiple sources to draw insightful conclusions and present valuable recommendations to leadership.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in leading a team of SDETs and/or QA Engineers on shipping new products/technologies with a strong focus on testability.
  • Experience in developing code in Objective-C or Swift to test API SDK or frameworks.
  • Bachelor of Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and a creative problem solver with interest in developing high-quality test software.
  • Passionate about great customer experience, especially great UI experience.
  • Comfortable working in a continually changing and dynamic environment and driving top issues to resolution.
  • Open-minded with strong collaboration skills.
