Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Contract Coordinator to join our Main Office Department. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Sales team with various contract and closing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the timely processing of earnest money and option deposits by scanning check copies to the DHI Sales team.
2. Maintain effective communication with title companies, sales personnel, and the construction department to facilitate smooth closings.
3. Upload essential documents, including the Certificate of Occupancy, and confirm that all relevant parties have access to these documents.
4. Organize and file all necessary closing documentation, such as original closing disclosures, plans, lender letters, and purchase agreements.
5. Provide general clerical support as needed.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of six months to one year of experience or training in real estate transactions is preferred.
- Strong ability to follow written and oral instructions effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and email communication.
