Job Overview

We are seeking a Part-time Speech Language Pathologist to join our multi-disciplinary team. As a valued member of our clinical staff, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Establish speech and language treatment goals through dynamic assessment tools and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to create comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Provide individual therapy sessions, as well as group and/or co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy.
  • Develop and implement play-based and goal-driven interventions to enhance receptive and expressive language skills, considering each individual's unique sensory processing, regulation, and motor differences.
  • Facilitate functional and stimulating experiences to target and achieve individualized goals, collaborating with patients and families to understand their values, interests, and objectives.
  • Design programming that addresses all aspects of the child, including sensorimotor, cognitive, communicative, recreational, and social activities.
  • Contribute to program development and education efforts, providing training and support to patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs that complement treatment.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Licensure to practice as a Speech and Language Pathologist in the state of California.
  • Excellent clinical skills and experience working with children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to safeguard patient information (desired).
Compensation and Benefits

Cortica offers a competitive compensation package, including a base pay range of $47.26 to $59.07 per hour, depending on skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location.
