We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Proliance Surgeons. As a Surgical Nurse Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Perform pre-surgical nursing assessments and provide education to patients prior to admission at the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
- Assess and evaluate the care needs of patients, requesting necessary pre-surgical clearances and diagnostics as needed.
- Communicate the patient's plan of care to the ASC team.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide optimal care to patients throughout their surgical experience.
- Maintain a positive and caring attitude with patients, physicians, and staff.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current State licensure and CPR, ACLS, and PALS accreditation.
- Two years of OR, Recovery Room, Intensive Care, or Emergency Room experience preferred.
