Surgical Technician

The Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in the surgical team, ensuring the smooth execution of procedures by assembling and preparing instrumentation, equipment, and supplies.
As a member of the surgical team, the Surgical Technologist works under the supervision of a registered nurse, collaborating with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and other medical support personnel to provide patient care that aligns with the mission, vision, and values of the Surgical Services department and Swedish Medical Center.

Key qualifications for this role include:
- Completion of a surgical technician vocational program or equivalent training
- Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Preferred qualifications include 6 months of experience in a hospital operating room.
