Job Summary:

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments.
  • Take vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Coordinate patient referrals, lab tests, and other medical services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Washington State Medical Assistant Certificate.
  • Minimum one year experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
