Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining industrial control systems for our press automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement industrial control systems for press automation systems
- Implement and start-up control systems at customer locations
- Troubleshoot and maintain control systems
- Optimize equipment performance in cooperation with the design department
- Perform press inspections and re-commissioning
- Assess material required for repairs and maintenance
- Update technical documentation to reflect the actual state of the installation
- Provide technical training to customers and internal teams
- Support the Field Service Group in preparation of installations and software updates
- Collaborate with customers to resolve technical issues and concerns
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in designing and/or maintaining industrial control systems, preferably in press automation systems
- Experience with PC-based control systems, Allen Bradley RS Logix, Siemens S7, and industrial networking protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally
- Fluent in English with advanced reading and writing skills
Organizational Relationships:
This position reports to the Lead Electrical Engineer and coordinates activities with service engineering, field service, project management, and customers.

This role requires a strong commitment to on-time delivery and a willingness to adapt to changing business needs.
