Job Description

As a skilled MEMS Design Engineer III at PCB Piezotronics, Inc., you will drive the design and development of next-generation MEMS devices, such as accelerometers and pressure sensors. These devices have groundbreaking applications in industries like automotive, aerospace, and defense, providing critical sensing and measurement capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, analysis, and characterization of MEMS devices, focusing primarily on piezoresistive sensors.
  • Utilize layout software, preferably L-Edit, for wafer mask layout.
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis, design experiments, and develop meaningful conclusions to advance device innovation.
  • Leverage Finite Element Analysis tools, preferably ANSYS, for device optimization and validation.
  • Collaborate with fabrication teams to tackle semiconductor wafer processing and backend processing challenges.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A BS, MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.
  • 5+ years of experience in MEMS accelerometer or pressure sensor design.
  • Proficiency in MEMS mask Layout and Finite Element Analysis.
