Radiologic Mammography Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Mammography Technologist to join our team at Dignity Health Medical Foundation. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality diagnostic images for timely and accurate diagnosis.
Responsibilities- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, and perform patient care services that support the physician's practice under the supervision of the radiologists, other licensed staff, and management.
- Help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions.
- Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order.
- Assist in preparing patients for Radiologic/Mammography examinations.
- Relaying instructions from the radiologist to your patient or authorized person.
- Collecting patient data, documenting patient concerns, patient messages, and care provided to the patient in the patient's medical record for the radiologist's review, and performing diagnostic medical imaging.
- Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Satisfactory completion of a formal AMA school of Radiolologic Technology or equivalent to an AMA Technologic program.
- Must be licensed by the State of California in CRT & Mammography.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills are essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging, proper operation of and care of radiology diagnostic equipment, and radiation safety is required.
- Maintain current California license in CRT.
- Maintain current CPR.
- Maintain current California license in Mammography.
