Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Account Manager to join our team at PIIAC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and carriers, providing exceptional service and support, and driving business growth through strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain key client relationships through regular communication, meetings, and events.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clients on insurance-related matters, including claims, billing, and policy administration.
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities to increase revenue and expand our client base.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to monitor and manage the renewal process, providing analysis and recommendations to clients.
  • Negotiate insurance premiums with carriers on behalf of clients, ensuring optimal coverage and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present marketing materials and options to clients, working closely with Account Executives to achieve sales goals.
  • Schedule and conduct regular meetings with clients to review account performance, address concerns, and develop growth strategies.
  • Conduct quarterly account reviews with clients to assess satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and develop plans to address any issues.
  • Provide administrative support on special projects and tasks as needed, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, legislative changes, and new products, attending seminars, classes, and carrier meetings to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Three years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on commercial accounts and client relationships.
  • State-issued license to practice as an insurance professional.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and carriers.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office software products.
