Job Summary

The Project Engineer Intern assists the Project Manager on projects and serves as the liaison between the field and office. Responsibilities include defining project objectives, planning and executing projects according to schedule, and ensuring they stay within budget. The ideal candidate will have previous construction or internship experience, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

This role involves developing relationships with project managers, subcontractors, engineers, and vendors, and working closely with superintendents and project managers to manage labor schedules and create prefabricated assemblies for planning and on-time delivery. As an intern at Helix Electric, you'll be trusted with meaningful responsibilities that have a lasting impact on the projects you touch. This hands-on approach to learning coupled with our top-notch mentor program affords all Helix interns the opportunity to develop skills that ensure their continued growth well beyond graduation.

What We Offer

Helix Electric provides a comprehensive benefits package, including relocation assistance and a housing stipend or corporate apartment. The starting hourly base pay for this role is between $21.00 and $24.00 per hour, which may be modified based on location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. This role may also be eligible for bonus and benefits.
