Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at EM Structural LLC. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a vital role in the successful execution of engineering projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets by conducting research, analyzing project requirements, and identifying key milestones and deliverables.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to project teams by conducting engineering calculations, preparing design drawings, and reviewing technical specifications.
  • Documentation: Generate and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, progress reports, and change orders, to ensure clear communication and documentation of project activities and decisions.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to facilitate project coordination and resolve technical issues on time.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance procedures and conduct quality checks to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards and specifications.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays, cost overruns, and other potential issues.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations by monitoring project activities and implementing appropriate safety measures on-site.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and solicit feedback to ensure client satisfaction and project success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in engineering or construction-related roles, preferably in project management or project engineering.
  • Strong technical skills with proficiency in engineering software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and interface with clients and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and practices is desirable.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus, but not required.

Compensation: We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
