Job Overview

Cennox is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to lead commercial renovation projects in the Los Angeles/Inland Empire area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Taking a project through all stages: planning, execution, and close-out
  • Tasks include but not limited to:
    • Defining scope of work and deliverables
    • Forecasting resources needed to complete project
    • Obtaining necessary permits, approvals, and regulatory prerequisites
    • Drafting and submitting budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
    • Managing costs to meet budget
    • Providing direction over contracts and subcontracts
    • Managing construction schedule and activities with onsite Superintendents
    • Issuing progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines
    • Ensuring work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes
    • Site inspections to verify the work meets Cennox quality standards
    • Managing subcontractor and supplier relationships
    • Coordinating efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors
    • Materials ordering and management
    • Staff scheduling and management
    • Invoicing
    • Client escalations
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Construction Project Management experience
  • Commercial Interior project experience
  • Proficient reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
  • OSHA 10 required, OSHA 30 preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent, Construction Management Degree a plus
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
  • Reliable transportation and flexible work hours
Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience
