Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Injection Molding Process Engineer to join our team at Sika. As an Injection Molding Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and productivity of our injection molding production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Quality and Tooling teams to resolve defects and mold issues, ensuring high-quality products and minimizing waste.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement projects to improve efficiency and reduce scrap, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Design, develop, and set up injection molding processes, systems, workstations, and automation equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot injection molding processes and system issues, providing expert technical support and guidance to production teams.
  • Train and develop production staff, including lead people, setup people, and supervisors, on injection molding systems and best practices.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance and Engineering teams to troubleshoot injection systems, develop preventive maintenance programs, and identify spare parts and systems.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions for injection molding processes and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and audit injection molding systems for non-conformances, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Lead the Production Floor Team, assigning responsibilities and tracking performance to drive business results.
