Job Description

The Molding Process Technician tends to several injection molding machines and industrial robots to mold plastic components to specifications. This position requires the ability to plan and perform a sequence of operations while making major decisions involving the running or stopping of molds and machines. This position also supports the training of new Molding Process Technician Trainees in injection molding processing as well as assisting in the development of the trainees understanding of internal processes and procedures.

  • Sample running (color, material, process)
  • Mattec system monitoring

  • Use of adjustable measuring instruments (micrometers, various gauges)
