We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Unit Clerk Nurse Aide to join our team at McLaren Health Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Administrative Support: Assist with receptionist and secretarial duties, including answering phone calls, relaying information to staff, and maintaining accurate records.
- Support Nursing Staff: Perform basic nursing care, including making patient beds, giving baths, passing waters, feeding patients, oral care, accurate I & O, ambulating patients, daily weights, and vital signs.
- Order and Maintain Supplies: Ensure that necessary supplies and forms are ordered and maintained to support patient care.
- Maintain Tracking Board: Ensure that admissions, discharge, and transfer information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Education and Training: Advanced education/training beyond high school in a related program (MA/Medical Receptionist, Medical Secretary, or Unit Clerk course).
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months healthcare job experience.
- Certifications: BLS certification.
- Skills: Knowledge of computers/keyboard and medical terminology.
- Previous Experience: Previous work experience or training as a Unit Clerk and Nurse Aide.
- Data Entry Experience: Previous data entry experience.
